The bag, made in 1955 by Coco Chanel, and since re-interpreted by Karl Lagerfeld, is being re-re-interpreted by 20 artists, among them Yoko Ono. One artist, Nobuyoshi Araki, shot a sadomasochistic film of a woman bound with the bag's gold chain straps. It's said to be among Lagerfeld's favorite pieces.
