Ralph Lauren Alligator Driving Loafers::

Ralph Lauren's latest luxurious holiday offering for men is an ultra-stylish take on the classic Italian driving loafer. The shoes are finished in brilliantly-hued genuine alligator skin and embellished with equestrian hardware. The Garda Alligator Driver is named after Northern Italy's chic Lake Garda resort, where scenes from the latest James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, were filmed.

Made in Italy, the ultra-comfortable driving loafer features the classic rubber pebble sole and come in five colors: Emerald Green, Cherry Red, Marine Blue, Purple, and Black. The gold buckle is evocative of bits, stirrups, and all things subtly equestrian in style. The loafers are priced at $3,800 a pair. Also available from Lauren's ateliers are matching classic alligator skin belt straps in most of the same colors, accompanied by an engravable sterling silver buckle for $920 a piece. Lauren has also made belts and boots in vivid alligator for women, but it's in the men's items that these colors really pop.
